If i go this route as a sponsor how much should I have in my bank before applying as sponsor for her to live with me in my house for 6 months .as she is a homemaker here and I pay for everything will they grant it.

There's no specified amount.
UKBA just expect that there is sufficient funding for HER for the total duration of the trip.

but my income is weekly and can easily support her and myself but I don,t have a lump sum in the bank to speak of .
