Eight illegal workers have been caught following an operation by Home Office immigration enforcement officers in Manchester.

The owner will receive a nice big fine shortly 10,000 x 8 wow lol he gonna need to sell a lot of chicken chow meins to pay that lot off.:biggrin:

he would if he intended to pay the fine, what will happen if he doesn't, he'll probably get away with it for years and then nothing is done :cwm24:

As we all know it's a max £10k per illegal unless he can show he did sufficient ID & immigration status checks which they mainly seem to be able to do. These fines are seldom imposed at the max and theres even less chance of them actually being paid :cwm23:

the gov propose to increase it to £20k, their better off get all the £10ks fines first :doh

I'd have a mandatory 5 year prison sentence, seizure of business assets for any business owners / Directors caught repeat offending
