A man has walked free from court after being caught masturbating with the hose from a fire extinguisher up his bottom in the halls of a central London hotel.

Joseph Small emerged naked from a cupboard of the Leicester Square Premier Inn on October 31.

The 20 year old, from Sheffield, also urinated on the carpet and a lift door and - according to the Metro - told a Bangladeshi member of staff "This country has been taken over by al-Qaeda - go back to Pakistan."

At one point he had to be escorted down to reception wrapped in a towel by a member of staff, where he urinated in front of tourists in the lobby.

The police were eventually called.

Small admitted criminal damage, racially aggravated harassment and outraging public decency.

'I'm truly ashamed of myself," he told the court.

According to Court News UK his curfew was changed so he could still get home.
