I know I have met loads and see loads of japs and their industry in Phill.

But i know for a fact our Firm which is huge steers clear. Of course there are japs there and others. But Im sure just as many dont bother for the reasons that I was told.

What stuck with me was that a man who has a great love for the country and is genrally polite, diplomatic on any subject. Went on a near rant
At the time i was sounding him out about the chances i might ever get a transfer there. We have a small concern there but that is tiny compared to say the Hong kong offices where they deal with a lot of the companys with a presence in Manila.
The cost of Labour was not an issue as they have many In japan and even the UK. The company language is English so you would think that Phill would be an ideal spot but there you go.

Trust me for the Japs at our place to prefer China to phill. Is like joe having a tatoo of the river mersey on his forehead
