FLR @ Ammending Passport....pls help

Thank you kimmi,will apply it personally coz the person in Phil. Embassy told me that I need to renew my maroon passport then ammend after reporting our marriage.Renewal of passport can only be done personally.

Hello Pat. Im confuse is your passport new or is it going to be expired? coz i thought its your fiancee visa that its going to be expired. as for me im holding the maroon passport as well and was done last year. of course the maroon passport was just released last year. anyway when i was applying for my flr last year, i didnt ammend my passport coz when i called the phil emb he said that they cant ammend a new passport coz its less than a year yet. so now im holding a flr visa with my passport not ammended. its still alright.

Thank you DianaKevy,yes,my passport is just released 2008.its new,will apply flr with out ammending my passport.I got confused too and got no time for now to ammend.Is your flr data same with your passport?like surname even if you have submitted marriage certificate?

Hello Pat.yes my flr data is the same as the data of my passport even if ive submitted the MC. its still alright although its a hassle when you are applying a job or something coz you have to show them your MC as well since the flr is still on our maiden name but other than that its fine. im going to ammend mine before the ilr i guess. we just wait and see. good luck on your application.
