my stepson was here 4yrs ago for 18months looking after little joe, he played an online game for like 12hrs+ a day teaming up with people in europe and the phils (depending on what time of day it was), he sold his on-line character for near £500 b4 he went back to the phils , i can't remember the game, but he had the highest score on their European server

Those old C64 things are way behind the joys of carjacking a car with 2 of your friends and then blazing around Liberty City on a crime spree, without breaking any actual laws

Sounds like World of Warcraft to me! Never gone near it myself, I hear it is like crack to some people So I don't fancy it myself.. But yea, you can build up a character to have tons of abilities and some people are serious enough to buy those characters as a quick way to get ahead
