Settlement visas ... which include both fiance(e) & spousal versions ... usually take longer to process than say, tourist visas - and applicants are, as a rule, told to expect a waiting period of up to 3 months on average.

That said, there ARE occasions when requests have been dealt with much sooner ... although the timescale CAN differ markedly, according to the Embassy's workload!
