I played in the harrogate sunday league for many years

I once played in the "pip sharpe" memorial trophy which consisted of a total of 4 teams attempting to win this much coverted prize

That muppet who kicked Alonso in the chest could have killed him. Should be a years ban, although FIFA will say that as he was booked it's sorted ... that doesn't mean that the ref seen exactly what happened. All other sports can go back and deal with violent conduct during a game ... but not FIFA .... unless their is a media outcry
