    yes david boss keith is right marry her in the philippines and apply a spouse visa its easy to get that visa and she can work straight away here in the uk,thanks and gooluck!!!

    Hi Dave,

    You don't say how long you have been unemployed, but if it's not been too long; I mean long enough for them to assume that your never going to work again, I'd say, that with the level of savings you've got and the fact that you own your own flat, there's a very good chance that you will get a visa.

    Hi Iain!

    Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I've been unemployed since 1993, which is along time. I've been trying ever since to make money from oil painting. I advise anyone not to do that. Thank you for your encouragement. I've been worrying for weeks about my chances of getting a visa. Thanks again Iain.
