I usually wear trousers, shirts and jackets with loads and loads of pockets. Can easily carry plenty kgs. Then transfer to hand carry later.
It's taken me over 20 years to find the ultimate capacity clothing.

Have a great trip. Last time I I travelled to Philippines with cathey pacific they weighed my hand luggage. Think the limit was 7kg.
