    i thought he had 1 year left at liverpool before they decided to give him the boot and cash in on him, sadly for him he's had to many injuries and i thought he would of done more at utd

    Yep, he was always injured so we got more for him than we should have.... same with Torres .... good old scouse team manages to rip-off the competition

    Many people thought after scoring that goal for England v Argentina in WC 98 as a raw teenager, he'd go on to be a world beater but it didn't happen. Apart from his pace and finishing ability (but only when given too much space) he's not that good.
