Have to say, I didn't get my passport certified, as I read others didn't & thought it an unneccessary expense, I could do without.

Hi Sim...So no need no notarized it even I cannot show his original passport right? I have already most of thedocuments but I am still waiting for my English test result..Hopefully I can apply on Aug 22 there...Good luck Tony...

Hi Lady_Ivy, well I decided not to. I have multiple entries into the Philippines, stamped in my passport & I guessed they could have checked me out, if they had wanted to?
I copied it twice, one in with the originals & one in with the copies & signed & dated them both myself...I suppose, there is a small risk, doing this?

Hi,
I have been advised that a notarised copy of my passport is not required as my wife has my birth certificate which seemingly is enough.

I was worried about this as the passport has my arrival and departure stamps for 2 visits to phils, however I have also submitted a heap of other material such as receipts gained in Phils, air ticket stubs to and from Phils and paperwork from the UK embassy in Manila.
