    thanks lastlid, my hubby's bank statements were given to him by his bank and he ask them to stamp it but said there is no need for it, i just want to be certain. this application for visa is giving me lots of worries

    Yes. I had the same thing from my bank on the duplicates and the bank said no need to have them certified. However it was an advisor that specified that I get the bank statement duplicates certified. However if they are originals then no worries.
