Thanks Matty I have discovered that today. My vicar is a bit memory defficient and keeps forgetting to sort it out for us, apparently the licence is refered to as the Bishops Common Licence, I asked him if I could keep nagging him on the phone

We are out of the electoral area for the church, but we attend that church regularily so that is not a problem because it is very close to us and the vicar agrees it is acceptable. The stupid thing is the official church for us is further away than the one we wish to get married in
