Moy, if you call LBC, they would deliver you a box, jumbo size is 20 x 21 x 31..just call their hotline number and a Filipina would answer the call and would schedule you for box delivery..it'll cost you £10 per box and it'll be deducted from the total amount for delivery to Pinas. hiya Rayna..thanks for the reply but am not using LBC..so i got option either to provide my own box or i will request one which is very expensive for 3 boxes

My ex wife and I used them for moving house. Good quality cardboard boxes.
Also used them for storing some collectable pottery that we had.

Seems like you are finding a lot of problems just to satisfy a relative there, who knows nothing of how much it costs. Just use a well known carrier, or you might get caught out like those who used Philand Ynterlink.theres no probs Steve

Moy visit a local supermarket,Lidl Aldi i usally see many empty cardboard boxes,ask if you can have 2 i am am sure they will help,and have you decided which courier to the Philippines.
I used supermarket boxes to move apartment recently but they tend to be a bit flimsy. The IKEA ones are quite sturdy.

I was just looking at a photo of the LBC box sent to my wife's sister from her husband in Taiwan. The box looks pretty big. My wife says the carboard is quite thick, possibly an inch thick?
