EEA Family Permit Granted!... So what's the next step?

    Hello eveyone!

Firstly I would like to share the good news that i successfully got my EEA Family Permit after less than 2 weeks from application. Thanks very much to this forum especially Terpe and febmary for all the advise.

My husband is Irish/British and lives in Belfast. Now that I have the visa, what are the next things to do? Are there any other requirements that I would need to get? Like I think I have to go to CFO? I read about x-rays too, etc.

The validity indicated for my EEA Permit is now until Dec (even though I wanted it to start in sep) but I can't go just yet because I still need to sort out some things here in the Philippines which may take a month or two. Would there be a problem applying for the residence card if upon arrival in the UK there's only 3 or 4 months left in the validity?

Would appreciate all your advise as always.

Hi Mindyyspears and many congratulations on your good news.
Would it be possible to let us know what supporting documents you submitted with your application as I am considering submitting an application for an EEA permit at some point in the future

Sure. We decided to submit as much as we could like copy of his irish passport, marriage cert, birth cert, letter from my husband declaring that I will be joining him there, proof of residence in the uk (ex. utility bills, pictures of the house), proof of his visits here (ex. airline tickets/boarding pass, pictures, accomodation receipts), proof of our finances (ex. recent bank certificates/statements, tax returns), proof of employment (ex. wageslips, employment certificate), proof of constant communication with each other (ex. emails, chat logs).
