Manager's Cheque is an option or you can pay through the banks specified by our two ladies here. However, through my husband's experience, he needed to phone the participating bank first before he went there and paid the VISA fees because not all banks, say BPI, accept VISA payment transactions... They might direct you to other branch. My hubby went initially to Market!Market! BDO branch to pay the Visa fees over-the-counter but they told my husband that they only are issuing MC's to their account holders. He then went to BPI near there (because he neither have an account in BDO nor BPI that's why he chose to pay over-the-counter) yet BPI directed him to BPI Forbes Park branch. When he went to Forbes Park branch, his payment was then accepted but the BPI personnel admitted that they seldom perform such transaction that's why it took them so long before the transaction was completed.
to much hassles, the british embassy gave you the participating banks but only the main branch of the bank can accept the visa payment transactions its rediculous bcoz they are the same branches but they can't do this thing for you.i am filipina but im not wondering filipino way very, very slow at all

I guess because the UK Visa payment has just been implemented recently in the said participating banks and not all branches of these banks are fully aware already of it...

Yes, so much hassle but I am looking forward to our bank personnel to be already familiar in handling transactions related to UK Visa fee payments...

Maybe, the UK Embassy just thought of implementing this for others' sake who do not have bank accounts and cannot buy MCs (since MCs are normally given to accountholders)...

took me an hour to pay my visa fee in bpi libis. the lady was uncertain of the amount. i was paying php47,500 for my settlement visa and she kept asking me "are you sure this is the right amount?" (no im not, i just thought id come in here and waste money!). she found a printed paper with the table fee on it and still uncertain as she said it might have changed due to the forex. i pateintly sat there not wanting to have an arguement with her. then she said to me how sure am i this was the right amount? i told her visit the website of uk vacs and the british embassy if not call her manager or someone who would know the "going fee". she said they are not used to dealing with uk visa application fees, any chance i would like to apply for the u.s. instead? now that was that! i demanded to see the manager who seemed to be a bot confused, made a few calls and i was out the bank in 10.

Yah, right. My husband told me too that the tellers in BPI do not know the amount that needs to be paid. They also asked my husband about the exact Visa fee. Actually, I do not even know if my husband was asked to pay bank service fee of Php50...

I think they need enough time to get everything in order and be more familiar with the arrangement between the UK Embassy and the bank/s.
