I met my wife on findloveasia.com and, of course, there are scammers around. A dead give away for me was when, in a girls profile, she was looking for a guy in the age range of 18-90!
You just have to pick the wheat from the chaff. There are no guarantees that you will find what you are looking for but, we can't go through life mistrusting everyone we meet.
Approach it with an open mind. Take your time, get to know the girl you really like and there is only 1 way to find out if she is being straight with you, get your .... over to the Phils!!

Maria stated one her profile she didn't want a guy over 40. At the time I was 39. Hope she doesn't trade me in now I'm overage!

And any girl looking for a bloke aged 18-90 has scammer written all over her.
