Well we informed our local MP about it and they got the copy of my approval letter from UKBA and all the other details. We're just waiting for their response on what to do next.

in response to Ded's post about "carrying on" (British terminology for having an affair) with the ombudsman.
But - back to being serious for a moment -, wholeheartedly, that you're doing the right thing in taking this matter further, and wish you and Keith every success with your efforts which will [hopefully] be of considerable help to future applicants, in saving them from the nightmare wait you and others here endured.
