Most will recommend a friend or even worse a relative back in the Philippines
Whether you are really suited or not will not even come into it
Getting their friends or relatives "near" will be all they care about

I stand by those remarks

I have a Filipina neighbor who lives a few doors down the road from me
She knows i go to the Philippines around 3 times a year
All i ever get from her is "meet my sister in Manila"


I think you will find most pinoys actually like to be near their families
