wow so many different points of view here but let's not argue because its entirely up to the original poster which direction he wants to take. in the end its still his decision that matters.so goodluck!

i disagree on saying internet dating sites are all scammers im sure there are a lot of ladies and gentlemen out there who are genuine and have pure hearts to try a different way of meeting their significant other. having been through those sites, i could pretty much say its not that bad you just have to be very careful not to send anything, or do anything if you have not personally spent some real time with that person. there are success stories on dating sites and some are unfortunate too. it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to get to know a person specially so its up to you if you want to be consistent in your communication with someone on the other side of the world.

Personally, I'd agree with you.
I can see how difficult it can be to actually meet people these days.
The internet and social media seems to be a natural and obvious choice to widen our scope.

I also feel that most folks are honestly seeking friendships/romance.

We must accept that there will be dangers, plenty of advice out there about this.

Be aware be sensible and be lucky, but don't be lonely due to fear. Good luck to all.

I have been lucky enough to find some of the wedding photos on the furum,,, and i must say i found it wonderful to see "Real" success stories.. Nothing more encouraging than seeing happy couples...
