I will surely miss the Caroling of little children, singing christmas carols..the christmas party that I used to organize in our place every christmas for five years now, giving gifts to little kids..

Christmas in the Philippines is really different, and this is the first time I will be away with my family this Christmas..

Kimmi can really be a great help, because she is there now, and she is leaving the Filipino christmas behind for a while, I can sympathise with dear Kimmi because ohhhhhhh bow bow, this her first xmas away from her family.

Well ...Kimmi Elsa spoke about seeing snow from her window, so just for you, here is a link to my Gina in snow for the first time ??

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e19h_DQauXg

Do you think you will be ok with it Kimmi ? and by the way, learn to start scraping the snow Kimmi, and husband will be very understanding and buy you boots and heavy coat, with hat and gloves.

    Hhehehehehehe

This is because Mancs have never been out of the city, so they had to build a ski slope & a beach otherwise they'd never see them. Poor things, they get on the ring road, and end up back home after an hours drive for some reason.....never figured out what a turn-off is....

loads of things i miss. kids opening their pressies with the huge smiles on their faces, the noche buena spread, the never ending xmas parties, the lights, the nice weather (warm during the day, bit coldish in the evening), the spirit of giving even though some dont have much and yet they prefer to share what is very little they have, the tiangge in greenhills and san lorenzo (flea market)....the lot.

maybe next year id make it....its been so long...

when are you buying me the mancs vs scouser book keith
    quote from it '
there's the belief among Mancs that all Scousers want to move to Manchester and drive down property values, just out of badness. (Not the case, according to the Scouse woman who says: 'I wouldn't want to move to a place where you have to put on matching clothing to pick up the milk from the doorstep.')'

I have experienced Christmas in other countries away from my family and I can say that it does not matter where you are on Christmas as long as you are with the people you love and be grateful that you will have another Christmas in your life. I spent two Christmases in England with my Sweetheart but of course I missed my family here in the Philippines, but thats life, we can not have everything, we have to accept what life we have now and live with it and in everything we have give thanks.

I spent my Christmas here last year during my visit, the one thing i really missed most was the Noche Buena and i guess that's again the thing i will be missing this coming X'mas, wherein the family cook special foods and we are all complete. I didn't miss so much the X'mas Carol because we participated the X'mas Carolling in Bournville probably we will do it again.

Hopefully by next year during X'mas time we will be in the Phil and the years to come
