Which reminds me of a case Fred once drew attention to ... whereby an elderly British bloke wed a Filipina, and he and his wife lived in the UK for 11 years after their marriage - before eventually moving to her *homeland. Alas ... after a long spell *there, the husband developed a serious illness - couldn't afford the cost of treatment in the Phils - and was going to have to come back to Blighty for major surgery ...
