    Question moving house

My BF asked me last night to seek advice from you guys. He's planning to visit me here in Israel on March, if our meeting will be okay he will give to me all necessary documents that i need in applying a visa.
But hes planning to move a house by April coz hes friend allows him to rent his house as he's moving from Spain and my bf loves the place and he wants to take it.
    A. His concern is,what will be the problem if i lodge my application by April and hes going to move a house on the same month?
    B. What is the minimum requirement of bank savings that he needs to maintain in his account?
I really thanks God that i found this site. Without it, all our doubts will always be a question mark. Keep up the good work to boss keith, to all moderators walesrob and ginapeterb. And to all the members here whose extending there knowledge in giving advises.
Wishing u all best of health, happiness, love and more blessings for the year 2008

I am glad that he has finally decided to actually visit you in Israel.

But what gets me is very simple.....

Why on earth doesn't he do his own research too, instead of relying on you all the time...???

It seems that it is all one-way traffic..... Just you doing all the leg work.
Looks like that he wants to be the prize catch and not vice versa.
If you want to marry him you have to work for it......

Sorry to say, but I don't think that all the responsability for the collation of the various requirements to an eventual visa should be placed entirely on your shoulders.

My two pence worth, for what's worth.....

Savings, as long as he's not in the red on the statements, and has around £1000+ free cash floating around, that is fine. You'll only be fed rice anyway, and sometimes on a special day, a goldfish

Housing isn't a problem, just explain it clearly in the cover letter.

It usually snows here in March, so tell Mr Boyfriend he can pay for me & the wife to go with him for....erm....safety

It will be much easier if you do, and it does seem applying to a British Embassy not in the Phil does show a better success rate....as long as everything is in order.

What do you mean 'No computer' .....does he have blak & white television yet, and one of those new fandangled slide rules?

MR Admin stop showing of with all your hi tech gadgets Next your tell us you have an extra long broom handle to change the channel with

Jaywin glad that your BF has seen the sense to go and see you, willbe far easier. I know a lot of people who have been to israel from the UK and its a far shorter and easier journey for him. Put it one way people go for long weekends and even football matchs to Israel they don't as a rule to phill from the UK.

Like the Boss says no need to go back to phill to apply as it will cost you a fortune which could be better spent in other areas with the application and what have you.

That's not an issue. It is up to the Israeli authorities to check who is in the country & why, nothing to do with the British Embassy, which is technically British soil.

I'm also very glad that your bfriend has decided to come and visit you! I felt scared when I visited Vimvie in Mindanao, 'cause you here nothing but bad news about the place! I've been to Davao twice now and it's a wonderful place! And I've met the most wonderful woman I ever met! When your bfriend arrives in Israel, you may do well to have you and your friends reassure him that he is safe!
