Stewart we have been following your Construction Project,what about exploring other finishes to the hollow block work externally,there most be alternative possibilities,to cement render,in this country we have seen lots of external finishes,maybe worth considering,your wife might help with sourcing them,Good Luck and thanks for the Photos ....
