April, I also bought my wedding dress online (although not in ebay) with almost the same price as yours! Just a few minor adjustments to fit me and everything was great! Worth it!

Wedding dresses here in the UK are b***** expensive! I remember when me and my mother-in-law went to a wedding boutique to try on their dresses, one I tried was so plain and simple and the price was £1000! I can't afford to wear a dress for such a price to be worn for less than a day. It's not practical, isn't it?

I don't understand women here who spend more than that here for just a wedding dress, it is ridiculous.

I am happy with my £79 dress from eBay, everytime people ask me about the dress, I am always proud to tell them where I got it and how much it cost...

You're totally right, the price of a gown doesn't really matter. I paid £47 for my customized wedding dress (3500 pesos). My dad in law told me that the average cost for a wedding in the UK is £15k
