It is in relation to the size of the population at the time, and the fact we are only comparing them with Muslim immigration, which forms only a small percentage.Originally Posted by Pete/London

The biggest immigration came from Scotland, Ireland and Wales, and that upset a lot of communities at the time. Now we are just one happy family .... apart from 42% miserable Scottish buggers
