Rugby League is popular in Lancashire and Yorkshire. I'm not a fan of either rugby codes and prefer watching American Football.

I must admit they do have more protection but the game itself has more to it than either rugby codes IMO. I find Union especially frustrating to watch as they're forever hoofing the ball in the crowd. It may be part of the game but for me it's not enjoyable.
