Luckily the days of my flights arriving to India are finished.

Hope my Singapore Airlines A380 flight to Davao will be smooth and uneventful

I did that one but changed at Singapore. Have they lengthened the runway at Davao? Best plane I have ever been on.

Still need to change at Singapore, then a 50min stop in Cebu but for us a less hassle and cost than going via Manila.

That A380 is a great plane and the seating and cabin space upstairs is just the best.

I don't think the runway has been changed since the last extension in 2001.
Maybe one of our air travel experts know more

Getting excited now, just a couple of weeks before lift-off

Singapore Airlines now departing from the brand spanking new Terminal 2 at Heathrow
    Looking forward to that too.

If you booked a different day you can get direct from Singapore to Davao, pain in the ass Cebu as you have to get off the plane then back on

... it adds around 2 hours to the journey.

Apparently this is a round trip for 'Silkair' ... ... since the majority of passengers who embark at Cebu are bound for Singapore via Davao rather than just travelling to Davao itself.

Hope not. It says 50 mins according to our flight schedule.

2 hours can be expensive when my wife is let loose in an airport terminal

Ah ... no worries on that score ... you remain in the Departure Area until called to reboard your flight.
