With climate change we're having a great summer, I'm hoping for plenty more. This summer will probably be followed by a bad winter, but that's how I like them - proper winter, then proper spring, and a good summer.

If I'm honest I do enjoy the different seasons.

When we lived in Yokohama we would get fairly predictable seasons. Four of them and all different.
If I had the spare cash for a long holiday that would be my first choice. The added benefit of enjoying freshly prepared Japanese speciality foods would be irresistable for us.
Much less cost than flying to UK and only a few hours away too.
