Speaking from memory (February 2009) ... ... I wouldn't have thought so. Davao Int'l itself ISN'T all that LARGE as far as International Airports go!

I've been to a few international airports in the Phils that are similar - Bacolod, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa and Clark.

Davao airport would become domestic, the new one international.

I still don't see the point. Why not just have one new airport or a new terminal like Bohol and Puerto Princesa?
