I cut out sugar and carbohydrates fifteen months ago and changed to a Keto style diet with less than 20g Carbohydrates allowed per day.

No bread, pasta, potatoes, flour, biscuits, chips.
No sugar, Mars bars, candy, cakes, Pringles.
Wine, low carb beer, straight Tequila and Bourbon replaced the Real Ale.
Lots of meat, steaks, bacon, cheese, with healthy low carb vegetables.
I replaced rice with green beans or riced cauliflower.
    No ready meals.

All meals tracked in MyFitnessPal app and website.

My weight plummeted at a kilo per week at first, I am now down over 40Kg, more than a third of my body weight, and don't want to lose any more.

Initially, I had just a bulletproof coffee for breakfast, plus midday and evening meals. I have now added a second breakfast such as a double egg cheese omelette, or kippers, or a quarter of a Camembert. I allow myself the occasional pint of real ale or Guinness, a bit of 90% dark chocolate and don't mind if I go over 20g of carbs per day.

I walk a minimum of five miles per day and at least 10,000 steps per day.

My high blood pressure has reduced considerably,
My BMI has reduced from obese to normal,
My 42" waist Levi 501's have been replaced by 32" waist slim fit jeans.

It's all about avoiding carbohydrate addiction.

Well done Dave!! You should be applauded.. Takes a lot of self discipline to achieve results like that.

Most TV doctors on morning TV would have dismissed your diet attempts as dangerous along with serious "bad for your health" warnings.

Example below shows these MSM Idiots along with their traditional TV doctor "expert" trying to break down and belittle a guy that has helped 1000`s of people actually lose a hell of a lot of weight and even reverse their diabetes 2 diagnoses in many cases..
They are all a bit too busy trying to push other things right now so the obesity pandemic is on the back burner.
These people are dangerous for our health IMO.
I wonder what the true data of deaths due to obesity there has been since all these enforced lockdowns from over a year ago?
How many new cases of obesity?
How many new deaths caused by obesity?
    I shudder to think.
