If the Church said well yeah actually its a nice story and if you follow the rules and examples you will be a fine person. Which is how i treat it and would use it to teach my Kids good morals as well as examples from elsewhere of being a good human being.
Church is the whole body of Christian believers...I regularly attended church services and activities when I was in High School till college and I've learned a lot from it. ... My church has a big impact on my personality and how I see my self right now. Aside from my parents who disciplined me I learned teachings and word of GOD from the church. As much as possible I want to be a good Christian believer and a GOD Servant.
