Agencies do not facilitate anything, they only get your money for work which you have to do yourself anyway....

I understand what you say about the agencies totally, but I already have the benefit of a previous users (good friend) experiences and know that the advice/instruction he got was much better than applying for visas without it! IE first time 'blind'. Seriously.

I think I might best ask particular questions as you advise.
Rather than continue this 'introduce yourself' thread.
Which seems to go no further than 'beware scammers'.
Good advice I have to say, but not what I need.
I'm long past that one.

Before u send her something,i would really advise for you to meet her first and try to know her first,background,family,friends and stuff like that...you can tell if she's not genuine the first time u meet her at the airport...

Please take this advice to heart, the scammers are quite clever, many are chatting to lots of guys at once and they will spend many hours online allowing the "relationships" and the "trust" to mature somewhat before they will ever even think of asking for money. The really clever ones will never even ask, they will just tell you their sob stories and wait for you to offer.

A real genuine Filipina would probably be to ashamed to ask someone she has never met for money. So if she does start to ask, tell sob stories or drop hints, the best thing to say is "I would never dream of sending money to someone I have never actually met". You'll soon know what the score is if you say that, a professional scammer will drop you like a hot potato and move on to the next guy.

(But yesterday Labuyo taught me serious lessons, here in UK)
