I like Bohol Tropics just because its far enough from town to be quiet and close enough to town(tagbilaran)so I can just walk in should I feel like it

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Bohol and Panglao are beautiful Steve I stayed at a couple of places on Panglao

    - La Pernela, it was a bit too far out of town so I only stayed one night, but the room and gardens were beautiful. It was run by a French Pinay who'd made her money in Paris before returning to the Pina's. The place was European standard and not bad VFM at around 2500 a night.

    - Bohol Divers Resort, right on Alona Beach. It was a decent resort with big rooms, a restaurant and bar, a good pool and 10 yards from the beach. The rooms were a bit dated, but they were clean and the bathrooms were ok. Overall it was good for 4 or 5 nights and worth 2500 a night. There were quite a few returning Brit divers staying there, which suggested to me that it must have been ok if they kept going back.

If I went back to Alona Beach, I'd stay at Bohol Divers again

I stayed at Dumaluan Beach Resort on Panglao Island ( http://www.dumaluanbeach.com/specials.php ) last month, far cheaper than Bohol Beach Club ( www.boholbeachclub.com ). It was recommended by someone who lives on Panglao ( Fred ) - have a look at " Luzon and Bohol " #36 . ( http://filipinaroses.com/showthread....uzon-and-Bohol )
See you at the " get together " in Derby this Saturday .

I've also stayed there, and your right it's highly recommended.
Personally I much prefer Dumaluan Beach.

Good choice Steve Bohol, is lovely. Nice to have a meal, down on the beach at Panglao at night, or breakfast in the morning.
