    SuperPinay in UK!

    Hello Kababayans and Mods

Glad to find wonderful FilipinoUK site, i've browsed some of the topics and found it very helpful indeed. Thanks guys!

Found myself creating a new topic now as i am really interested exploring a future in this lovely country.. I'm here in UK now. My 2nd visit. The 1st was a business trip where Ive got my 1 yr multi entry visa.

I would probably be exploring staying here in UK by end of next year with my English boyfriend. But getting married would be our last resort on getting a visa. (Don't get me wrong - we are absolutely having genuine and real love for each other). But we want to explore other options if we can.

Would like to know business opportunities here where i should focus on...

What other communities available here where I can be with our fellow Kababayans.

Thanks guys, would be keeping in touch here very often..

Hi SuperPinay, greetings, welcome etc - as a business opportunity unless exclusive (rip off) import agreements exist how about investigating delivering bulk quantities of Sky Flakes and San Mig Light at a reasonable price to the UK consumer

If your looking for a business model SP,you could initially follow the example of certainly the best known UK based pinay business-woman consuelo farochilen,I met her a few times when she was hands-on back when she first started out,her business newtork grew to encompass travel-agency,estate-agency,mini-market,a recruitment-company,publishing etc, pinoy TV (I forget which network) featured her in a "Pinoy-abroad" program, but last I heard her business has closed or shrank?Once she took her hands off the steering wheel the service went downhill as I found to my cost
Good luck with your venture anyway, whatever it may be,my lady is an entreprenuer, got a degree from ataneo as an economist, works with world-bank and USAID,several others, did a few courses at the Asian Institute of Management in Makati,if your minds as sharp as hers your going to do just fine,be lucky and welcome to the forum Maligayang pasko.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

    Hi Terpe,

Read few of your posts and found it very sensible and helpful..kudos!
Im quite active member/forumer in a Pinoy site in Singapore where i work as an engineer, joined few communities (more on sports) and that makes my Singapore life very positive in terms of bringing camaraderie to our Filipino Kababayan and helping people in need. A plan to move here in UK gives me the drive to do the same thing, and i am just so happy that the site like this also exist.

Im exploring other type of visa such as business visa, student visa or a partner (i dont know how to call it when not married yet) so im still getting progress of choosing a proper one. I havent got much time back-reading all the posts, im sure there are few topics available, would appreciate if somebody can help me copy and paste the link which one most suitable for our/my quest .

I genuinely wants to be with my beloved bf here in the UK (his contract in Singapore will end late next year) for us to be together...all of ur help will be very much appreciated

the more posts you make earns you reputation, lifts restrictions and enables private messaging etc, reputation is awarded by other members for good and interesting posts if they feel you deserve,

Consuelo F must have been very business-oriented, who knows she might have had earned a lot enough to sustain the rest of her existence so she gets off her hands on the steering wheel, if its otherwise .. .

wow, ur lady is extremely special and genius.im afraid i am not even close with her achievements. i am an engineering graduate with Masteral in Business Administration and working in a manufacturing industry. i am not so sure if this will give me opportunities to register a business in the UK..

really needs a handwork on researching information.

i like your signature quote.couldnt agree more.

Good luck with your goals, having lived and travelled around Asia I'd prefer to be there rather than living here!

what is stopping you, you only live once. I was in Argao province for a while with my fiancee and it was so tranquil and calm. I plan to move there after a few more years here.

Not to late i hope, welcome SuperPinay.
