Neither do I, and I didn't want to get involved with such things either (probably specially made-up for foreigners ).

That's why I always kept a low profile and operated my business from behind 8 foot high walls and gates, with CCTV.

I did nearly buy a vacant tropical fish shop though, but thought better of it.

Could you not simply register the business in your wife's name....to avoid getting caught up with those special rules for foreigners?

Still dodgy IMO , and just not needed in our case.
