Terpe's Recent UKBA Immigration Raids Posts

Thanks Terpe for continuing to highlight this issue - as per usual the suspects are from Pakistan, India & Bangladesh

The UKBA officials still issue their tired old stock phrases -

We are carrying out operations like this across Kent every week and where we find people who are here illegally we will seek to remove them.

I'd love to see something like "and as a deterrent to others he was shot dead whilst attempting to escape custody"

As a matter of principal I'm against privatisation of public services. But I honestly believe that if this work was done on a commision basis they'd be rounding hundreds if not thousands every week.
The whole world knows where to find these illegals it just needs a more proactive approach to rounding them up and deporting them without delay.
Obviously don't give the contract to G4S though

Whose going to drive the taxis and make the curries now?

When you watch the TV program about the UK Border Force, they seem to catch the people, then let me them go waiting for a hearing. Seems ridiculous.

They say there is no such thing as a secure job these day. But I think if you work for the UKBA there is a good chance you will have a job for life sorting this lot out.

TBH UK Border Farce Sky TV programme was a laughable attempt by Labour to big up the UKBA's enforcement activities - it was made in 2008/9 and financed in the main by the Home Office. It completely backfired, as you say Ricky most of the illegals they show being nabbed are immediately released so all it did was reinforce public opinion that the Labour Govt was paying lip service to sorting out illegal immigration.
