.....as I cant vote in UK elections while I am resident in the Isle of Man. However, whoever is in power dictates Immigration policy for the Isle of Man. So I have a vested interest in all of this.

On immigration policy, yes - reliant on westminster. If UKIP got their way and there was a 5 year freeze then it would probably affect the IOM too. Yet I cant vote in the UK election.

That's island life I guess.
