    Very helpful Lastlid. Makes me wish I had this information before my application instead of signing a contract for 80000 php with a clown who was recommended to us in the Philippines.

    Yes. It's a difficult call for anyone. I do the reverse as I tend to think if only I had joined the forum earlier then I will have saved a few bob.

    My mistake in hindsight was pointed out by Graham I think, who commented Why did I pay all that money to a Filipino Attorney when we are dealing with UK immigration Law.
    But it is amazing some of the little nuggets you pick up here. Only today I learnt about it possibly being easier if I had an Irish Passport. I think we've got our own Visalogic team right here and it's totally free.

    Exactly. I "flipped a coin" and went with Visalogic and a week or so later I discovered the forum. There's obviously some luck involved along the way.

    Anyway, I hope your refusal is overturned. Rooting for ya!
