Lets not jump the gun. I`ve found another insurance company and transferred it as from midnight tonight. No problem just a shock that Tescos insurance wouldnt cover Chryss. Maybe they`ve seen her drive
Anyway, me mam works for NFU insurance and they covered us both for an increase of just £60 for the year. Also the excess is less too.

Yeap, just keep reading and learning and reading and learning.. Only yourself can tell if you're confident to take your test or not.

A lots of free videos and websites to read about theory test, just bare in your mind the hazard perception is a bit tricky so give yourself of extra time learning it.

For me is not really good idea to learn driving then stop then go back learn driving again, dont leave gap in between of your driving lessons, as you have chance to forget what you learned, it willl only cost you more money and time!

I did 2hrs per week starting late May 2008 then passed my driving test Middle of Sept 2008 so I did in total of 31 hrs of driving lessons, I also spread the cost of my driving so it doesnt hurt in my pocket

I bought cd from ebay, i borrowed books from friends, I watched free videos online (youtube), I read what people says in learning driving forum, etc etc, you know it's like applying a visa to UK. it's not easy but it's all worth it!

Thanks for your advices Anne & Ann! Very helpful. I wish to drive soon too as I'm longing for independence too lol... I love driving in the PI (oh yes!) but hehe, I'm a bit worry to drive here as there are so many laws and restrictions hahaha and you can't pay the police. lol

get yourself a small secondhand car like a 1 litre and insure in your hubbys name and add your name too it!

my ex wife had hers in a bag in the footwell of the passengers seat she was driving at 60mph and tryed to reach over to answer the call lost control of the car went down an embankment rolled the car 8 times the roof was squased right down to the headrest only the fact that she was so short or her head would have been flattened my 8 yr old son was in the back the emergency services was amazed they walked away injury free GOD WAS SMILING ON THEM

Oh my momma, that was miracle! (and good thing she's short too , saved her life) Yep, never ever answer calls & send text messages! Lots of road accidents involve mobile phones
